Good quality and robust board. Only time will tell how long it last. The design is excellent, not only the built-in cutting bowl, but the recess to allow a dish to be neatly tucked under board. This is good for both waste and prepared foodstuff without the risk of spillage and mess. I use an old divided veg dish so that I can put waste in one half and prepped goods in the other. Would highly recommend.

Solid BIG, THICK, beautiful, sturdy cutting board. The type of board that will stay in my family forever. Knife is beautifully made as well, very sharp. Can't wait to put mineral oil on this so it shines from my kitchen counter. Could be used as charcuterie board as well!! So happy with purchase :)

I got this product some months ago and decided to write a review when I fully utilized it. I think it’s a great board, and the dish nook and mezaluna/bowl feature was surprisingly helpful. I like it, it should last for some time and hopefully won’t split like my old boards.

Love this cutting board! Before getting the Papa Oki we had some cheap stuff from Ikea. I'm so glad we upgraded to this design -- it's so much better all around. The multi-purpose design helps me when I'm chopping herbs, garlic and herbs. The board is so nice to look at so we keep it out on the counter all the time. And it's easy to clean. I've been really happy with this cutting board and would recommend it for folks who want to upgrade.

Really love my Papa Oki chopping board. The acacia wood is really gorgeous -- especially when I added some oil. I've been using the mezzaluna knife and curved bowl so much more than I expected to -- especially for herbs and nuts! The so-called 'dish-dock' is cool -- all boards should have this innovation! Very solid and a great size -- although I might actually want a bigger one! Wonderful addition to my kitchen, I keep it out all the time and even use it to serve things.

The Papa Oki cutting board is by far the most well thought out cutting board. Flat side for your standard prep; while the other side has a shallow bowl cut w/a side area for scrap food material. Along with the 1/4 moon blade, cutting within the bowl cutting area keeps everything contained. A dedicated space. Amazing. With a couple of coats of Papa Oki board oil, adds to the wood protection, as well as nice appearance for table guests. By far the most impressive cutting board I own to date.

This really is a beautifully made cutting board. I love that they used hard and good quality Acacia tree wood which is a fairly hard dense wood that grows around the world. The dark and light almost zebra like stripes/pattern is modern and appealing to me. My favorite part of this set though is the Oki blade. It is great for cutting so many different things and is pretty easy to sharpen with a block or stone. I believe it's a Native Inuit tool which is extremely handy in the kitchen for meats, vegetables and herbs. The wooden cutting board is better quality than most I've had including some of my older bamboo ones. I like that it is thick, heavy, and a fairly large size.

I truly enjoy using my new cutting board. The surface space works for me, plenty of room to cut up different veggies. I find the space underneath the board to fit a dish a huge help too. Using the mezzaluna, which is provided, with the bowl on flip side is genius. As other reviews have stated, it makes easy work of chopping herbs as well as garlic. A win win for me.

We are delighted with this cutting board. The design is both functional and handsome. Rubbing some mineral oil on it really brings out the beauty of the acacia wood. A great addition to our kitchen.

What a unique design! I've just started using my new Papa-oki cutting board and I'm impressed. It is very sturdy and handsome. I can easily slice and dice and all choppings fall onto my plate. Great knife included. This board makes chopping fun!

The Papa Oki cutting board is incredibly innovative and well-constructed. It has unique features including a bowl-shaped carve-out on one side for chopping salads, vegetables etc., accompanied by a fitting, stainless-steel, rounded cutting blade. It also has a great carved-out section along an edge of the underside of the board for placement of a plate to ease gathering of chopped items from the cutting board surface.THE PAPA OKI BOARD IS A CUT ABOVE!!

Papa Oki Wood Cutting Board is a very attractive cutting board. The flat side has no splinters, is very smooth, looks great, and is a good cutting board. There is a circle cut underneath so you can put a plate half under the board and scrape your cut food over into it. That really is neutral for me. I do like the large bowl shape underneath that allows for some major chopping with the mezzaluna. The mezzaluna is sharp and light weight, I don't care for the two handles and used my kitchenaid instead, but it worked great and had plenty of workspace.

The Papa Oki cutting board is first rate and a terrific value. The dish dock makes clearing the board incredibly easy, and the unique mezzaluna knife is great. The grain of the wood in my board is particularly attractive. Great buy.

This board is sturdy and well designed. I love that I can slide a plate under to collect what I’ve chopped. And it looks beautiful on my kitchen counter!
